Dairy farmers are invited to participate in a free online workshop series, beginning March 4, designed to help you feel more confident in talking about how your farm practices protect the environment and mitigate the effects of climate change.
Developed by the New York Dairy Issues Management Team — ADA North East, New York Farm Bureau, Northeast Dairy Producers Association, Inc., and the New York Animal Agriculture Coalition — the four-part series addresses:
- Updates on issues the industry is facing, from public perception to policy discussions, featuring New York State Commissioner of Agriculture Richard Ball
- Success stories from farmers who have identified sustainability solutions that work on their farm
- Technical advice on developing social media content, including capturing and editing videos and photos, featuring ADA North East Industry Relations Specialist Kelsey O’Shea
- Media training tips to prepare for conducting interviews
