In preparation for next week’s ADA North East Virtual Farm Tour on April 28, tour host Kelly Reynolds of Reyncrest Farm, Corfu, N.Y., participated in four recorded media interviews for news outlets in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse and Watertown. The news reporters visited with Reynolds either virtually or in-person at the farm to gather and share information about the tour with their viewers to encourage registration. The interviews will run early next week.
Coordinating media interviews with news stations and preparing dairy farmers like Reynolds for the interviews is part of ADA North East’s overall strategy to share positive messages to build trust in dairy and ultimately increase sales.
Set for Thursday, April 28, the tour will feature two options to accommodate student learners of all ages.
- A “deep dive” tour on sustainable nutrition for Grades 6-12
- A general “How Dairy Recycles” tour for Pre-K- Grade 5 students.
